Meet the Candidates: Update

Tim X!

If you don't know Tim, well...he'd probably like to keep it that way.

Tim has been a Friend of Chris since 2003. He enjoys [perhaps a bit too much] collegiate athletics, breathing, pontificating social ills and mores, weird trance music, a diet rich in vegetables and grains, vehemently discussing politics or environmentalism, and of course, Chris! Tim is a graduate of Penn State and can be found huddled and trembling in a corner should the school disappoint him on the football or field hockey field. He prefers dank beers, Asian cuisine and his favorite movie is likely some sort of documentary critical of the current administration. Bonus points for Tim: he recently stayed at our place and watched Marley while we did it up in the Hamptons. [Editor's Note: Readers should be aware when voting that during this time Tim did NOT change Marley's water, rather periodically adding ice cubes to "freshen it up."]

Upon learning of the nomination, Tim had this to say:

"It's a real honor to be nominated for Friend of Chris, though, I have to say, what took so long? I mean, really, look at the other jagoffs [in the running]. During a spirited debate, how many of the other so-called 'nominees' have the mental dexterity to decipher Chris's semi-coherent
mumbling AND simultaneously shout their own reasoning, all while doing so in a semi- or non-lucid state? Yeah, I thought so."
